Few places in Regensburg reflect the city’s 2,000-year history as vividly as Neupfarrplatz. Archaeological excavations uncovered large sections of the medieval cellar structures of the Jewish quarter that was destroyed in 1519 and preserved beneath the present-day square. The document center vividly explains the significance of the remains of the former Jewish quarter.

A metal board with the inscription document Neupfarrplatz on it, photographed in frog perspective. In the background rises the tower of the church Neupfarrkirche.
