Städtische Galerie (Municipal Gallery) at Leeren Beutel

The Städtische Galerie (City Gallery) will open its doors for a varied evening dedicated to art. The art guides from the Chamäleon improv theater will explore the collection together with visitors, bringing the artworks to life in new and unexpected ways. The image featured on this year’s Long Night of Regensburg Museums guidebook can also be found here and will be presented by artist Barbara Muhr herself. Artist Peter Engel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at his creative process and guide visitors through his current exhibition. The special exhibition “SPUREN” (TRACES) features works by Susanne Böhm, Gisela Conrad, Helga Weichmann-Schaum, and Wolfgang Keuchl, inviting visitors to reflect on what remains of a life devoted to art.
